Who it's for

Great for 3-5 players who enjoy trick-taking games and want a genuinely fresh deduction twist on the format.

Not for you if…

If you dislike hidden-information guessing games or find betting on uncertain outcomes stressful, LUZ leans hard into exactly that tension.

Vibe's take

Sneaky and social. You're constantly scanning faces and reactions for clues about your own hand, turning a normally solitary card-reading game into a shared guessing act.

About this game

LUZ turns trick-taking inside out: you hold your cards but never look at their values, only their suits. Your opponents can see what you're hiding, so reading their reactions, and betting how many tricks you'll actually win, becomes the entire game as you compete to command color and light inside a grand cathedral.
