Five cards, one quick glance away, and suddenly something is different: a spot-the-change game for small kids.
Who it's for
You have kids around four to six and want a simple game that works on short attention spans. Parents can play along and still enjoy it for a few rounds.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a challenge for older kids or adults. The game is gentle, and after a handful of rounds the differences get familiar.
Vibe's take
Quick, giggly, and low-stakes. Kids love catching the grown-ups out, and a round is over before anyone loses interest.
Look! (also known as Schau mal! Was ist anders?) is a quick spot-the-difference game for small kids. Five cards lie in a row, everyone looks away for a moment, and then one thing changes: a light is on, a cap faces backwards, a monkey sits somewhere new. The first player to name the difference keeps that card. It trains observation and memory without any reading, and a round takes only a few minutes. Adults will often be surprisingly bad at it, which kids love. It is a simple, friendly game that works well as a first game for four-year-olds, and parents can play along without getting bored too quickly.
