Feel your way to two matching toys, one hand in each pocket, before the sun runs out.
Who it's for
Families with kids from four who like touch-and-guess games, and anyone who enjoys a shared clock rather than pure competition.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a clean cooperative game, since scoring displays sits awkwardly next to the shared loss. Tied to the Laura's Star books, published in 2002 and long out of print.
Vibe's take
Quiet and weirdly tense, with a lot of frowning concentration and sudden laughter when two supposedly identical ducks turn out to be a duck and a slipper.
Laura's room is a mess and it has to be tidy before her star appears in the sky. Players reach blind into a bag with two separate pockets and try to pull out two identical toys at once, purely by feel. Every failure removes a piece of the sun puzzle, and when the sun is gone the group has run out of time.
