Roll two color dice, flick one disc into the other, and decide whether to push your luck for another point.
Who it's for
You like dexterity games where skill and nerve matter, and you are playing with kids around six and up and adults willing to flick discs.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike dexterity games or the feeling of losing a turn's worth of points. Missing is part of the whole experience.
Vibe's take
Tactile and tense in a quiet way: you line up a shot, everyone holds their breath, and a miss erases your whole turn. Precision matters more than strength.
Six colored discs sit on the table, you roll two dice, and the colors tell you what to do: flick the disc of the first color so that it hits the disc of the second. If you succeed, you score a point and may keep going; fail after pushing on, and you lose everything you gathered this turn. That is the push-your-luck heart of Karambolage, a flicking game with the tension of a pool shot and none of the green felt. If you cannot take a direct shot, you can bank it off an included block. The box actually includes rules for three variants, so you can switch the style of play. A rumbling, laughing table-top game where precision beats power.
