Quick two-player dinosaur chase on a grid, with a Triceratops against a Raptor.
Who it's for
You have a seven-year-old dinosaur fan and want a quick duel for two. It is also a handy second game to keep in a bag for travel.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want depth or many players. It is a tiny two-player game, and adults may find the strategy runs out quickly.
Vibe's take
Light, quick and a little sneaky: you think one move ahead and hope your opponent does not. Kids enjoy the dino theme, and adults get a mini-puzzle with room for a trick or two.
A small two-player chase on a grid, in the same spirit as Jurassic Snack but with a new cast: one side plays Triceratops, the other a lone Raptor. You move your dinosaur across the board and try to outmaneuver the other side. A game takes about fifteen minutes, and the age recommendation starts at seven. If you own Jurassic Snack too, the two boxes combine so that four people can play in teams of two. Think a tiny abstract strategy game wearing dinosaur costumes.
