Pull blocks out of the tower, stack them on top, and hope it does not fall on your turn.
Who it's for
You need something physical that adults and kids can play together with no reading and no teaching. A good fit for a party, a barbecue, or a lazy afternoon with a mixed crowd.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want decisions that reward strategy. It is a dexterity game, and a cold or shaky hand matters more than cleverness.
Vibe's take
A tense, giggly dexterity game in which everyone leans in silently, then explodes when it falls. Early turns feel easy, later ones turn into hand-shaking drama.
Fifty-four wooden blocks stacked into an eighteen-story tower, three blocks per layer, each layer turned ninety degrees from the one below. On your turn you pull one block from somewhere below the top layer and place it on the very top, keeping the tower alive for the next player. The more blocks you steal from the bottom, the wobblier it gets. Whoever makes the tower collapse loses, and that rarely takes long once the gaps start piling up. It rewards a steady hand, a bit of nerve, and a poker face, and works for anyone who can hold a block, from small kids to grown-ups. Solo is possible, for the brave and the bored.
