Love Letter with a Marvel twist: one Thanos against a team of heroes, draw a card and play a card.
Who it's for
You enjoy Love Letter and want a version with teams and a Marvel skin. Good when you have an odd number of players or want a quick team game.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a deep game. It is a short, luck-influenced card game, and the villain role is quite different from the hero role.
Vibe's take
Quick, bluffy and a bit mean, with the same one-card-at-a-time tension as the original. The one-versus-many setup gives the heroes something to coordinate against.
Love Letter goes Marvel with a one-versus-many twist. One player is Thanos, the Mad Titan hunting Infinity Stones, while the others are heroes such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor and Scarlet Witch, trying to stop him. The core stays the same: on your turn you draw a card, play a card, and resolve its effect, bluffing and guessing what is in the other hands. Heroes team up and gather intel about Thanos's schemes, while Thanos plays with a two-card hand and drawing from his own deck. A round takes only about fifteen minutes.
