A solo grid puzzle where hungry animals eat each other until just one remains.
Who it's for
You like short solo puzzles and want something to print and play on a coffee break. Good if you enjoy chess-like planning in miniature.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want to play with others or want a rich theme. It is a solo logic puzzle, and a bad opening can mean quick failure.
Vibe's take
Clean, thinky and slightly mean in a charming way. Each move closes some doors, and finding the order that clears the board feels like cracking a small riddle.
A solitaire puzzle on a forgotten island where the animals are hungry. You start with a grid of sixteen animal cards and aim to leave only one animal standing. On each turn you must move one animal to eat a smaller animal next to it. If you cannot make a move that eats, the game ends, so the trick is to plan your meals in an order that doesn't leave a hungry animal stranded. It is a print-and-play, takes about fifteen minutes, and works like a little puzzle you can replay with a new layout each time.
