Draft cards, grow your farm, and survive the harvest without running out of water or feed.
Who it's for
You liked drafting games like 7 Wonders or Among the Stars and want a farm theme with more resource worry. Great as a two-player duel.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a relaxed pastoral game. Water, feed, and upkeep keep tightening the screws, and a bad draft hurts.
Vibe's take
Calm but constantly pressured, like farming with a spreadsheet. Every pick has to survive the harvest check at the end of the year.
Fields of Green puts you on a farm in the second half of the twentieth century with a simple goal: build the best-running operation over four years. Every year everyone drafts cards at the same time and adds fields, livestock, and facilities to their own farm. Then comes the harvest, where you have to water the crops, feed the animals, and pay upkeep to actually earn anything. It is a drafting-and-engine game in the spirit of Among the Stars, but with a gentle farming theme and less table talk. Tight on resources, pleasant on the eyes, and best at two where each draft pick really counts.
