A hidden-movement hunt on a dark spaceship, with only pencil and paper to track your path.
Who it's for
You have a bigger group that loves bluffing and deduction, and you enjoy a bit of horror theme. Great for people who like Werewolf-style accusations.
Not for you ifβ¦
You have only two people, or you dislike writing on sheets and tracking a path. The game rewards a good poker face and a decent memory.
Vibe's take
Paranoid and loud. You track your path in silence, try to look innocent when you announce a sector, and then someone bursts out laughing because they just caught you. The bigger the group, the better.
Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space is a game of bluff and hidden movement on a ruined research ship where the lights have failed and an alien plague is turning the crew into monsters. Every player gets a map sheet and a pencil, and secretly tracks their own path across the hex grid. Humans want to reach the escape pods, aliens want to catch humans, and the twist is that you announce your sector to the table only when a noise card says so, sometimes honestly, sometimes not. Players who get caught become aliens themselves. It's like a spooky game of hide and seek with pencils. Best with a large group.
