About this game

Elfenland turns a simple road trip into a scramble across a fantastical map. Each round you draft transportation cards, magic carpets, giant boars, dragons, sailboats, whatever the market offers, then commit routes in secret before revealing who actually gets where. The twist is that you never have quite enough of the right cards, so half the fun is improvising when your dragon card runs out three towns from home. Visit the most towns across three trips and you win, but the real pleasure is watching everyone's careful plans collide on the same roads. Light, colorful, and endlessly replayable, it is the family game that quietly won Spiel des Jahres for a reason.
