Roll dice against Lovecraftian horrors in a haunted 1926 museum, racing to seal the portals shut.
Who it's for
Lovecraft fans and co-op dice-game lovers who want tense horror gameplay that works from solo up to a full table.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike heavy dice-luck or want a game without any horror atmosphere, because both are central here.
Vibe's take
tense, cooperative, dice-driven, atmospheric, escalating
Elder Sign puts your investigators inside a museum at midnight, 1926, while something ancient and hungry claws at the barriers between dimensions. You roll a fistful of custom dice against each exhibit's specific challenge, matching symbols to solve it before your sanity or stamina runs out, and every solved room brings you closer to sealing the portal for good. Fail too often and the Ancient One stirs, closer to waking. Characters bring genuinely different toolkits, and re-rolling and locking dice gives you just enough control to feel clever without ever feeling safe. It's Lovecraftian horror boiled down to fast, tense dice-chucking, equally happy solo or with a full table.
