Drop coloured shapes down a vertical board and hope physics sends them to the best-scoring spots.
Who it's for
You like dexterity games where luck and a steady hand mix. Perfect for a table that wants to laugh at near-misses.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want precision or deep tactics. The bounce makes outcomes unpredictable, and clever aim only helps a little.
Vibe's take
Noisy and silly: you aim carefully, release and watch the piece go anywhere but where you meant. The laughter comes from the bounce.
Drop It is a Plinko for the board game table. A vertical board stands up in front of you, and on your turn you drop one of your coloured shapes, circles, triangles, squares or diamonds, through the slot at the top. The piece clatters down and settles wherever physics decides. You score for the highest level it touches and for any special spots, but if it lands against a piece of the same shape or colour you get nothing. Some spots on the edge also forbid certain shapes. The rulebook includes simpler and more varied variants. It is a short, noisy, cheerful dexterity game for two to four, ages eight and up.
