Build a deck that is also your army and conquer the worlds of a crumbling galactic empire.
Who it's for
You like deck-builders with a sci-fi empire flavour and want something heavier than the usual. Works well with three players.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a fast, light card game. It takes about two hours, and the planning can feel heavy.
Vibe's take
Methodical and engine-driven. You gradually develop a deck that suits your conquest plan, then unleash it. The tension comes from timing your attacks against rivals who are doing the same.
Core Worlds is a science-fiction deck-building game about the fall of an old galactic realm. The Core Worlds are fading, and young kingdoms beyond the frontier are gathering strength to strike at the heart. You buy cards from a shared row, build up energy and assemble fleets and ground forces, then use them to conquer worlds. Unlike a pure points race, your deck is also an army, and what you buy decides how you fight. A game lasts around two hours with up to five players, and it rewards planning more than most card games in this style.
