Fling coconuts into cups with a monkey launcher and be the first to stack a six-cup pyramid.
Who it's for
You want a quick, physical game for two, with a duel feel and plenty of laughing. Good for kids around six and up and the parents who play with them.
Not for you ifβ¦
You prefer strategy to aim, or you have a table that can't take flying coconuts. Success depends on hand control.
Vibe's take
Silly, loud, and competitive. Every shot has the table leaning in, and the magic cards add just enough mischief to turn a lead around.
Coconuts Duo is a standalone version of the monkey-launcher dexterity game Coconuts. You flick coconuts from a little catapult into cups, claim the cups you hit, and stack them into a pyramid of six to become the monkey king. This edition is built for two players and adds ten magic cards, so your opponent can suddenly turn your best shot into a mess. You can also combine it with the original Coconuts for five or six players. It is loud, silly, and decided by steady hands more than by clever thinking. Kids from about six can play, and adults get a real kick out of the slightly cruel magic cards.
