Cosy and cheeky, with a satisfying puzzle of balancing cats against cat food. Rounds are quick, the table giggles at the costume cards, and you learn to eye the card your neighbour wants.
About this game
In Cat Lady you collect cats, and also the toys, food, catnip and costumes that go with them. Each round you draft cards three at a time, aiming for the combinations that score best. Costumes, toys and catnip add points, but hungry cats subtract them, so you need enough food in your hand for every feline mouth. The cards are cute and the theme is silly, with famous cat lovers from history in the mix. It is a quick drafting and set collection game with a clear central tension: do you take another cat or the tuna to feed the ones you already have? Best with two, fine with four.
