Castles of Mad King Ludwig turns you loose as royal architects, buying rooms tile by tile to build the most sprawling, faintly absurd castle at the table. The twist is that whoever is Master Builder that round sets the prices for everyone else, so pricing your own leftover rooms fairly, or not, becomes half the game. This collector's edition dresses the classic in new artwork, a dual-sided scoreboard, weighted swan markers and both major expansions built in from the start. Room types score in wildly different ways, so your castle's identity forms slowly, and no two ever end up looking alike.
