Defend a castle from a horde of monsters together and share the glory.
Who it's for
Families or mixed-age groups who want a co-op where kids can contribute to a real plan. Also good for adults who just want a dramatic, relaxed siege.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a hard puzzle that punishes small mistakes. The challenge is moderate, and strong players can dominate the table unless you let everyone make their own choice.
Vibe's take
Warm, noisy and cooperative. The table collectively groans as the trolls arrive, then cheers when someone finally lands the perfect trade and hit. Not hard, but dramatic.
Monsters pour out of the forest and your castle sits right in the middle of the board. Everyone is on the same team: you swap cards, shoot down goblins, orcs and trolls as they approach, and rebuild walls the horde has smashed. Only one tower standing and the castle holds, so the tension rises toward the end. Players win together, but one person still gets the title Master Slayer for the most kills, which keeps a little friendly rivalry alive. It's a gentle first co-op for families, easy for kids and a fine light option for adults who want to fight together rather than against each other.
