Catapult cloth bats across a haunted castle and race to the Magic Cup at the top.
Who it's for
You play with kids around six who like flicking and aiming games, and you want grown-ups to take part without feeling bored.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want much strategy. The game is about the launch and the lucky landing, not planning.
Vibe's take
Playful and tactile, a children's game about aiming that stays fun because the bats never land quite where you plan. The Ghost cards add small, silly twists.
A children's board game that you win by flicking bats. Each turn you launch a cloth bat from a little catapult onto the board, and where it lands decides how far you move, one or two spaces. Splash into the moat and you draw a Ghost card, which might push you along or trip you up. The goal is to reach the top of the castle first and grab the Magic Cup. Skill helps, but so does a lucky bounce, so younger kids can beat older ones. Grown-ups enjoy the catapult just as much and land in the moat just as often. Recommended from about six years, for two to four players, and a game runs around twenty-five minutes.
