A buzzing bee on a mission – bop him away from your honey before he steals the last disc.
Who it's for
Children aged three and up, and the grown-ups who happily play along. It is a short, silly round with nothing to read or calculate.
Not for you if…
You want a strategic game for adults. The result is mostly reflexes and luck, and the motor gets loud.
Vibe's take
Giggly, noisy and reflex-driven, with groans every time the bee gets through. Small kids enjoy the surprise, adults get a short round with a bit of rivalry.
Bobbin' Bumblebee is a loud, wobbly kids' game from the family of Loopin' Louie. A battery-powered bumblebee named Robin buzzes around the board after honey, and each player has a paddle to bop him away from their own stash of honey discs. Lose all your discs and you are out; the last one with honey wins. It is made for ages three and up, with rounds of about ten minutes, and it works because small kids love a toy that moves by itself. Grown-ups will recognize the formula, and it holds up as a laughing, flapping, silly race.
