About this game
Blockbuster is a love letter to the video rental era wrapped around two very different party skills: fast trivia recall and improvised performance. Round one is a straight buzzer battle, shout out movies fitting a category before the other team beats you to it. Win that and you pick three movie cards your team must guess from quotes, charades or a single desperate clue, all against a thirty-second timer. Collect a card from all eight movie genres and you win the whole night. It is loud, competitive, and genuinely works for big groups who just want to yell about movies together.
