About this game
Blank Slate turns everyone into amateur mind readers with nothing but a pencil and a fill-in-the-blank card. A prompt shows a phrase with one word missing, and everyone secretly writes what they think belongs there, then reveals at once. The sweet spot is matching exactly one other person: too obvious and everyone writes the same word for nothing, too weird and nobody matches you either. Rounds fly by, laughter comes from the wildly different answers on the table as much as from scoring, and you learn uncomfortably fast who thinks like you and who very much does not. Easy to teach, easy to love, hard to stop playing.
