You defend a museum from art forgeries, except your own honest paintings keep getting accused too.
Who it's for
Full tables of six or seven who love arguing, interpreting ambiguous clues and laughing at their own bad guesses.
Not for you ifβ¦
You play with only two or three, because Belratti thins out fast without a lively crowd.
Vibe's take
silly, chatty, cooperative, unpredictable, lighthearted
Belratti puts you on both sides of an art heist: as Artists you quietly submit paintings from your hand that you think match two themes the Directors just called out, sliding them in facedown among forgeries planted by the deck itself. As Directors, your table has to talk through every submission and decide which ones are genuinely yours and which are fakes smuggled in by the notorious forger Belratti. Here's the joke: art is subjective, so a perfectly good match gets accused constantly, and an obvious fake sometimes sails right through. It is loud, cooperative, and funniest with a full table arguing about what counts as art.
