About this game

Balderdash hands you an obscure word nobody has ever used in a sentence and asks you to convincingly fake its definition. Everyone writes a bluff, the real definition gets shuffled in, and points go to whoever's lie fools the most people, or to anyone who actually knows the truth. It rewards a straight face and a good vocabulary in equal measure, and half the fun is the room dissolving into laughter over someone's wildly confident nonsense. A party staple for a reason: low setup, huge laughs, and it works just as well with strangers as with your oldest friends.
