Race the rising tide together to save Atlantis, betting on shoreline spots that pay big but flood first.
Who it's for
Your group wants a big, dramatic cooperative game with real stakes and enough player count flexibility for a large table.
Not for you if…
You want a short session, since a full two-hour cooperative worker placement game is a serious evening commitment.
Vibe's take
tense, cooperative, escalating, weighty, thematic
Atlantis Rising Second Edition puts your whole island on a sinking clock, and the clock does not care how good your plan is. Together you place workers across a shrinking homeland, and the juiciest spots near the shoreline pay off big but flood first, so every placement is a small bet against the tide. A fresh misfortune card each round can swamp a location or twist the knife some other way, and you are racing to gather enough resources to build a cosmic gate before Atlantis vanishes for good. Big-box drama, real cooperative pressure and gorgeous new artwork make this a proper event of an evening rather than a filler.
