Take a whole pile of cards, then bait your rivals into grabbing the ones you stuffed with junk.
Who it's for
You like bluffing and bait-and-switch card play, and enjoy the Critical Role world. Great for groups who love a good trap.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike being tricked or want a solitary, calm collecting game. Half the game is leading others astray.
Vibe's take
Sly and quick. You study the piles, guess what your rivals can't resist and sneak your best cards into places you plan to come back to. Satisfying when someone falls for it.
Familiars on a mission: you play magical companions sent out by their spellcasters to gather rare ingredients from across Exandria, while rival familiars set traps. Piles of cards stand for locations. On your turn you take an entire pile, then place three cards from your hand into piles: two face up and one face down. The game is about hiding valuable cards for later and tricking opponents into grabbing piles full of negative cards, so timing and bluff matter. A fast card game for two to four players, about 45 minutes, ages 12 and up, with a pinch of mischief.
